Professional Career
2021 Real Salt Lake: Started and played in 20 matches for RSL in his fifth season with the Club. Totalling 1,710 minutes during the regular season, Silva completed a 92% pass completion percentage and carried 32 interceptions.
2020 Real Salt Lake: Starting all 15 of his appearances in a shortened 2020 season, Silva played 1,309 minutes. Silva played the second most minutes on the team at the centerback position.
2019 Real Salt Lake: Silva scored two goals from the centerback position in 1,432 minutes. In his third season with the club, Silva saw the starting eleven in 15 of his 20 appearances.2018 Real Salt Lake: In his second season with RSL, the imposing centerback played in 18 matches on the backline, totaling 1,557 minutes.

2016-2017 Real Zaragoza (Spain): Following his stints with Las Palmas and Real Valladolid, Silva moved to Spanish side Real Zaragoza. He started all 35 of his appearances with the club, notching a single goal and assist in 3,150 minutes.
2015-2016 Real Valladolid (Spain): Silva started 31 of his 32 total appearances for Real Valladolid. His lone one goal on the season came in a 2-0 victory over Córdoba CF on January 24, 2016.
2014-2015 UD Las Palmas (Spain): Silva made 27 appearances for LaLiga2 side Las Palmas, scoring two goals in 2,031 minutes played.2010-2014 UD Almería (Spain): After starting his professional career in Uruguay with Danubio, Silva moved to Spain in 2010 with Almeria in the top flight. In four seasons with Almeria – two in La Liga and two in Liga Adelante – he played 45 league matches, helping earn promotion in the 2012-13 season. He spent part of 2012 on loan to Peñarol in Uruguay and made two appearances in Copa Libertadores in that stint.
International Career (Uruguay)
2009-2012: Silva was born in Mercedes, Uruguay and spent his younger days playing with the country’s U-20 National Team, helping reach the Knockout Round of the 2009 U-20 World Cup. He scored one goal in 11 appearances. In 2012, Silva made a substitute appearance for Uruguay U-23 in a scoreless draw against Egypt U-23. He made five total appearances for the U-23 squad.
