- Monaghan, a New Jersey native, attended Butler University for four years, playing in 80 matches and recording 22 goals and 18 assists. She was named twice to the All-Big East First Team, Second Team All-American, All-American Scholar and also earned 2017 All-Big East Player of the Year plaudits. The forward made Butler history when she was drafted 10th overall in the 2019 NWSL Draft by Gotham FC where she played 57 games across four years.
