McGlynn started as a goalkeeper in all four years that she attended Virginia Tech and went back-to-back as the All-ACC First Team goalkeeper. Drafted in 2020 by Sky Blue FC (Gotham FC), spent one year in New York before moving overseas to Piteå IF in the Swedish first division. McGlynn spent the 2022 season in Sweden’s top league, where she was named Norbotten’s Female Player of the Year after starting every game, recording seven shutouts, and becoming one of only three players in the league to play every single minute. She returned to Gotham FC in 2023, winning the NWSL Championship before moving to the Wasatch Front. In her lone season with URFC set the club record for single-season saves with 84 in 24 appearances. The strong performance led her to be named club MVP leading to her first senior team call up and debut in a 3-0 win over Argentina last October.
