Kate Del Fava

One of two players returning to Utah from the Club’s first iteration, Del Fava was born in Evanston, IL. Her college career took her south to Illinois State, where she played all four years, gathering a wealth of personal accolades including 2019 MVC Player of the Year, three All-MVC First Team awards and six MVC player of the week awards among others. She was drafted by Utah Royals FC in 2020 with the 12th overall pick and made her debut in the 2020 Challenge Cup. When the first version of URFC folded, she moved with the Club to Kansas City for two years where she scored her first professional goal. Iron Woman played every minute of URFC’s inaugural season en route to earning team DPOY. Del Fava notched her first two professional-goals last season that included game winners against North Carolina Courage and expansion sibling Bay FC.
