Ana Tejeda, born and raised in Logroño, Spain she joins Utah Royals with a wealth of club and international experience. Tejeda started her professional club career at the age of 17 with Real Sociedad in Liga F in Spain. She would become a mainstay in the team by the 2020-21 season earning 24 starts. She has also played with Spain’s youth national teams winning the Euro’s and the World Cup with the U-17’s and also winning the World Cup with the U-20 team. The center back also has 1 cap with the senior national team. She leaves Real Sociedad having made 86 appearances and scoring 1 goal. Joining URFC as a defender Tejada quickly moved into the midfield pairing with Spaniard Zornoza. Tejada became a threat from distance along with the rest of the URFC midfield after scoring rips from deep against Houston and the game winner at home against Louisville. Good form earned Tejada her first call up to La Roja senior team since 2022.
