May the force be with you as you join us for Star Wars Night at Rio Tinto Stadium. Real Salt Lake will be facing off against the evil empire, AKA the Los Angeles Galaxy on Saturday, April 30th. Hop into your X-Wing, Podracer or SUV and experience a day of exciting RSL soccer and Star Wars themed fun.Â
All fans are encouraged to show up to the match dressed up as their favorite Star Wars characters. RSL’s Event and Concert Operations Manager, Jake Jensen, will pick his favorite costume to win a team signed RSL jersey. The costume contest will take place in the plaza outside Rio Tinto Stadium along with 30 Star Wars cosplayers that families can take pictures with before the match. There will also be Star Wars trivia, a Star Wars themed matchday poster, Star Wars themed graphics and more!Â
The fun doesn’t stop there, we'll also be celebrating KSL's birthday. There will be five KSL booths and six Spanish radio booths fans can visit as well.Â
