Over the weekend the Real Salt Lake Academy traveled to the Pacific Northwest to face the Portland Timbers Academy on Saturday, March 5.
With eight players missing due to call ups from MLS NEXT PRO side, Real Monarchs, the U17s dropped a disappointing result, falling 2-0 to Portland.
The U15s continued their goal scoring ways from last Sunday, defeating Portland 3-1. Max Lora, Tony Ramirez, and Axel Uriostegui all found the back of the net for the Claret and Cobalt, increasing their tally to 10 goals in the last two matches.
The Academy will now return home to host Breakers FC on Saturday, March 12 at Zions Bank Training Facility. These will be the first home matches of the spring season for RSL.
