Career Summary

- Originally from Washington, Burns headed south to USC for college where she met current URFC Head Coach Amy Rodriguez during her time as an assistant at SC. Featuring in 68 games across four years, the full-back recorded six goals and ten assists while in Los Angeles. She was named twice to the All-Pac-12 first team and once to the All-Pacific Region first team. Burns began as a US Youth International featuring three times for the U16 squad before switching to the Canadian National Team. With Canada, she played in the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup and was named to the tournament’s best XI. Since then she has made her full Canadian National Team debut, coming on as a second half substitute against Nigeria in a pair of friendlies and going on to win a silver medal with Canada at the CONCACAF Women’s Championship in 2022.
