- Nelson, who was born in Lindon, attended the University of Utah where she made 63 appearances and played nine matches for the Utah Royals Reserves in 2019 conceding only four goals. The goalkeeper went undrafted in 2020 but was invited to preseason with Utah Royals FC before signing a short term deal with OL Reign. She officially made her first team debut for KC Current in 2021 and subsequently was loaned to FC Nordsjælland where she made 18 appearances. She returned to the States in 2023, joining Orlando Pride prior to returning to her hometown club.
