HERRIMAN, Utah (Wednesday, April 17, 2024) - Utah Royals FC (1-3-0, 3 pts, 13th NWSL) hit the road for the second time this season facing Racing Louisville (0-0-4, 4 pts, 9th NWSL) at Lynn Family Stadium on Saturday, April 20 at 3:00pm MT
This will only be Utah Royals FC’s second game away from their home fans during the 2024 NWSL Season. They look to meet the challenge this time around after dropping three pts their last away game in a 2-1 loss to the Washington Spirit at Audi Field.
They took a lot to learn from their 1-0 loss to Orlando Pride at America First Field last Friday night. This game saw a few first as forward Brecken Mozingo earned her first start of her professional career after coming off the bench her previous 3 appearances this season. We also saw defender Zoe Burns make her professional debut after coming off the bench in the 64th minute. These two rookies drafted 4th overall & 29th overall respectively look to continue to make their mark on the road in Kentucky this Saturday.

Racing Louisville looks to receive Utah Royals in Kentucky four matches into their NWSL Season having played to four draws scoring and conceding four goals across their matches. In their last match, they held current NWSL Shield winners San Diego Wave to a scoreless 0-0 draw at home. The Royals enter this game with a sour taste in their mouth after losing three in their first four. They lacked the ability to break the lines against Orlando Pride and look to improve that to create goal scoring opportunities in Louisville to avoid a third straight loss.
Following Saturday’s away match, Utah Royals FC return home to America First Field as they look to defend their home field against the Houston Dash on Saturday, April 27 at 5:30pm MT.
