HERRIMAN, Utah (Monday, May 20) - Utah Royals FC forward Ally Sentnor has been called up to the U.S. Under-20 Women’s Youth National Team by head coach Trasey Kevins. The training camp will take place in Southern California and will include two matches against Korea Republic.
The number one overall pick in the NWSL draft has four goal contributions this season (two goals and two assists) and has consistently been one of the key goal-scoring threats going forward for Utah. In her rookie season, Sentnor ranks in the 99th percentile in progressive carries and 98th in successful take-ons. She leads the Royals in shots taken with 26 total, the majority of which have come from outside the box.
Sentnor helped the USA qualify for the 2024 Fifa U-20 Women’s World Cup which will be held this fall in Colombia, recording a team-leading four goals during World Cup qualifying. The Royals rookie scored on her most recent call up to the national team, notching the game winner against Colombia in Bogota in April.
The 24-player roster features seven professional players, including Sentnor, 13 college players, and four youth club players. Both matches against South Korea will take place at Dignity Health Sports Park Track & Field Stadium on Friday, May 31 and Monday, June 3, and both matches will kickoff at 3pm PT.
