I once knew a girl who lived in Minnesota.
She described a phenomenon known to locals as “Minnesota nice, Minnesota ice.”
Apparently, it’s a thing where people are polite to your face but are distant & don’t really care about you further than exchanging routine cultural pleasantries.
Basically, some locals are, like, “I have enough friends.”
I always found this hilarious.
Whenever she would describe a scenario that would play out in “Minnesota nice, Minnesota ice” fashion, I couldn’t help but chuckle.
Here’s hoping the lads skip the entire act on Saturday & just kick the loons square in the behind.
