HomegrownSigned as the club’s 15th Homegrown signing, Baird was an instrumental leader in Stanford’s historic NCAA College Cup run that saw the Cardinal win three consecutive national championships, becoming just the second team in division 1 history to do so. Baird, an Escondido, California native tallied 16 goals and 28 assists in his four years at Stanford while appearing in 77 total matches, making 69 starts. Having also spent time with the U.S. U-20 and U-23 National Teams from 2013 to 2015, Baird carries with him an impressive college résumé as well as experience at the international level.

Professional Career
2019: Coming off an exciting rookie season for the club, Baird earned his first USMNT call-up in January. He started in his debut appearance in a friendly versus Panama and recorded an assist. In total, Baird made three starts in four appearances for the USMNT. For RSL, Baird played in 33 games, tallied five goals and five assists in 2,254 minutes across 25 starts. Baird signed a contract extension in January 2020 that will keep him with the club through 2023.
2018: Baird scored eight goals and contributed five assists and was voted the runaway 2018 AT&T Rookie of the Year in his first season as a professional.
