DefenderThe 12th overall pick in the 2012 MLS SuperDraft, Maund joined Real Salt Lake via trade with Toronto FC ahead of the 2013 season. After spending part of his time in Toronto as a defensive midfielder, Maund shifted back to his natural center back position with RSL, playing and starting three league games and one Open Cup match for the Claret-and-Cobalt. The 23-year-old defender had perhaps his best game of 2013 at his former club, playing all 90 minutes and turning in what former RSL Head Coach Jason Kreis called a “super” performance in RSL’s 1-0 win at Toronto FC on June 29, 2013.

Professional Career
2016: In his fifth year as a center back for RSL, Maund appeared in 20 games for the club, starting all 20 of those games. Maund logged 1,746 minutes for RSL in a year that saw him cement himself as a consistent defender in Major League Soccer before a fractured foot sidelined him for the final three months of the season.
2015: In his fourth year as an RSL defender, Maund saw 21 starts in 22 games played. In a Quarterfinals match of the US Open Cup in July, Maund scored an 87th-minute header for his first professional goal to give RSL a 1-0 victory and send them to the Semifinals. He finished the season with one goal and one assist in a career-high 1,974 minutes.
2014: Maund provided more defensive depth for RSL in 2014, making five starts and six appearances in his second season with the club. He started the opening two matches of the season then saw spot appearances throughout the season. In his six matches, Salt Lake went 4-1-1.
2013: Appeared in and started three regular season matches, recording a total of 270 minutes played … Made his first appearance for the club starting and playing 90 minutes in RSL’s 1-0 win over Maund’s former club Toronto FC on June 29 ... Started and played 90 minutes in the Claret-and-Cobalt’s 2-1 loss to Sporting Kansas City on July 20 ... Started and played 90 minutes in RSL’s 4-3 loss at New York Red Bulls on July 27
