A historic day for Real Monarchs SLC awaits after four years of existence when it finally opens its brand-new home at Zions Bank Stadium in Herriman City at the south end of the Salt Lake Valley. The highly anticipated match against United Soccer League newcomers – and regional rival to the Monarchs, Las Vegas Lights FC on April 30, is set to be the pinnacle of United Soccer League action in the seventh week of competition.
“To have our own home, our own facility is amazing,” Head Coach Mark Briggs explained. “We’re incredibly thankful to Dell Loy Hansen and Zions Bank for providing us with a home. Now we’re ready to go out and make it a fortress much like we did Rio Tinto Stadium last season.”
Set on the 40-acre campus of the $78 million Zions Bank Real Academy in Herriman, Utah, Zions Bank Stadium provides a beautiful and unique environment for fans to take in top-class professional soccer. With views of both the Oquirrh and Wasatch Mountains available from nearly anywhere in the league’s newest venue, Zions Bank Stadium provides a one-of-a-kind setting for professional soccer in the United States.

Multiple concession areas are placed around the stadium with a children’s playground positioned in the southwest corner of the venue.
