Real Salt Lake is heading Northwest to Oregon for a midweek fixture against the Portland Timbers in the U.S. Open Cup. RSL are coming off a tightly contested 0-0 draw at Houston this past weekend while Portland also gained a point last weekend following a 2-2 draw against Austin. This match will be the second in RSL’s Open Cup campaign after defeating the Las Vegas Lights in the previous round while the Portland defeated Orange County SC 3-1 in their previous Open Cup fixture.
