While Real Salt Lake starts its epic tour of five cities in 15 days with a match against D.C. United on Saturday, fans back home can watch the Claret-and-Cobalt take on Alvaro Saborio, Fabian Espindola and D.C. United from the comfort of the America First Pavilion.
Rio Tinto Stadium and the America First Pavilion are playing host to a triple-header on Saturday that starts at 3 p.m. when the Real Salt Lake Women take on the San Francisco Nighthawks in the WPSL Elite Championship. This is already the best season for the RSL Women since opening play in 2008. In 2012, the team won its division, but lost in the national semifinals.
That match will be followed by the viewing party on the Pavilion starting at 4:30 p.m. with kickoff at 5 p.m. as RSL looks to continue its three match winning streak across all competitions against East-leading D.C. United. The match will be the final regular season match against an Eastern Conference foe for RSL.
The viewing party will feature a DJ and plenty of giveaways, along with food and beverages from Snap Daddy’s BBQ and Rita’s Ice, among others.
The festive day concludes when Real Monarchs SLC takes on the OC Blues at Rio Tinto Stadium at 7:30 p.m. in a rematch of Saturday’s first meeting between the USL clubs in Irvine, California.
Tickets for the tripleheader are just $5 apiece and the watch party is free to the public. For tickets, click here and use Promo Code "monarchs."
