The U.S. U-17 National Team has two more matches before kicking off the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile. On Wednesday and Friday, the U-17s will face Mexico in friendlies in Mexico City and Head Coach Richie Williams included Real Salt Lake-Arizona Academy defender Tanner Dieterich in his 24-man squad for the two matches.
The team is now less than a month away from the World Cup in Chile, where it has been drawn into Group A with Nigeria, Croatia and Chile. The USA kicks off the tournament’s opening match on Oct. 17 against Nigeria at 2 p.m. MT.
