Season Ticket Member Starting XI: April 9, 2022

Real Salt Lake's match against Toronto FC on April 9 celebrated the second ever Season Ticket Member Starting XI. The Starting XI is made up of season ticket holders who have been around since the very beginning. These loyal season ticket holders were recognized on the field postgame where they received a team signed RSL kit and a picture on the bench. Thank you to all of our season ticket holders for their dedication to the Club.

Rudy Seipel: Section 22 row N seats 5-6.

Who are three players you would like to have a dinner with and why?

"The players I would not mind to go to dinner with are:

1. Damir Kreilach: He is a real leader and he likes it here and he also played in Germany.

2.Bobby Wood: I like his local and International play.

3.Tate Schmitt: He is the surprise of the year. One of the best young players that has no limits to go up."

Stevan Gerber: Section 16 Row E seats 10-11.

Who has the best goal celebration?

"As far as best celebration overall I’m not sure. I was a fan of Cletus. But the single best goal celebration hands down was Dunny at Rice Eccles after scoring that diving header and planting the flag to announce RSL to the world."

Bruce Lawhun: Section 21 row B seats 9-10.

You’ve been a season ticket holder since 2009, do you have a particular year that has been your favorite? Why?

"The best years were the early years when there was the game Saturday and the reserve game Sunday morning in Park City. Most players attended game and you could talk with them and get pictures with them. It was so friendly."

James Eveleth: Section 12 row B seats 1-2.

What is your favorite part about being a season ticket holder?

"The favorite part about being a season ticket holder from day one of this organization is knowing that I played a very small part in helping this team slowly grow to where it is today and that it will be here for future youth to enjoy the game."

Michael Adams: Section 203 row A seats 2-4.

Who do you come to games with and what is your favorite memory with them at the RioT?

"For over ten years, I have come with two different brothers who are all lifelong RSL Fans along with a good friend and his family. My two favorite memories are the atmosphere and banners streaming during the Concacaf Champions league final and watching the boys almost pull it off. And second, traveling with my brother Dan and friend Shawn to Kansas City for the FREEZING MLS Cup final in 2013 and watching the boys almost pull that one off as well."

Trevor Brown: Section 37 row C seats 10-12.

What was your favorite RSL memory?

"My favorite RSL memory was the 2009 MLS Cup Final. I had just opened up a sports bar in West Jordan in September and we watched it there. The place was packed with RSL fans and when Robbie Russell hit the winning PK, the bar exploded. Everyone was cheering, hugging and high-fiving. It was really a cool moment, to have my hometown team win the MLS cup, and to watch it in my bar packed with screaming soccer fans, that was a memory I'll never forget."

Tim Ashley: Section 36 row C seats 15-16.

Favorite all time player and why?

"That is an easy one. The Maestro #11 Javier Morales! With silky smooth moves he made the beautiful game oh so much more beautiful."

Brian Clay: Section 1 row H seats 15-17.

Favorite Kit?

"The 2006 Home Kit is my favorite and the one that I wear the most."

Matt Jensen: Section 29 row L seats 1-6.

If you could choose the Starting XI for the next match, who would you choose?

"Macmath, Silva, Glad, Herrara, Holt, Ruiz, Kreilach, Besler, Menendez, Wood, Meram"

Shane Lucas: Section 26 row A seats 17-18 and row B seats 17-20.

What is your favorite RSL memory?

"My favorite memory is back in 2011 when the RioT was the Fortress and RSL had the 34 game unbeaten streak broken by Monterrey in the CONCACAF Gold Cup final. Even though RSL lost, the team and fans were amazing and the stadium was electrify during that time. We were at the 2009 MLS Cup victory over the Galaxy yet the Gold Cup Championship is still my fondest of them all."

Damon Chatput: Section 22 row G seats 9-10.
