On the heels of a dramatic 4-3 victory over San Jose Earthquakes, Real Salt Lake had two players named to MLSsoccer.com’s Team of the Week for Week 25 of the regular season. Captain Albert Rusnák was selected as a starter and Rubio Rubin earned himself a place on the bench.
Rusnak contributed a goal and two assists, while also setting up Rubin’s second goal of the night. Meanwhile, Rubin netted a brace, including the team’s game-winning goal in the 81st minute.
