RSL’S INTERNATIONAL CONTINGENT READY FOR ACTION
Five Players from Claret-and-Cobalt Set to Suit up in CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers, International Friendlies
SANDY, Utah (Friday, October 7, 2011) – Five members of Real Salt Lake are ready to represent their respective national teams across the next five days during FIFA’s international calendar window.
The group includes two players – MF Jean Alexandre andMF Will Johnson (Canada) – that will look to help continue their respective countries’ march towards advancement during CONCACAF region qualifying for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. Both Canada (Group D) and Haiti (Group F) won their first two qualifying contests last month to sit atop their respective groups with six points, but with only the winner of each four-team group advancing both sides will need to press for full points to put a stranglehold on their group in advance of the final qualifying matchdays in November.
