The 2019 U.S. Soccer Development Academy playoffs kick off on Monday, June 17 and both the RSL Academy U-17s and 19s are set to compete for the coveted Academy championship.
The RSL U-19s will feature in Group H, along with Bethesda FC, Crossfire Premier and fellow MLS side Atlanta United FC. The RSL U-17s were drawn into Group E of this year’s playoffs, with FC Westchester New York, Real Colorado and Toronto FC. All playoff matches will be held at SoCal Sports Complex in Oceanside, California.
The U-19s will play Atlanta United FC on June 17, Bethesda FC on June 19 and Crossfire Premier on June 21 with a potential quarterfinal appearance scheduled for June 24. The 17s are scheduled to open its playoff run on June 18 against Real Colorado followed by matches on June 20 against Toronto FC and FC Westchester on the 22 with a potential quarterfinal appearance on June 25.

The group stage of the 2019 Boys' Academy Playoffs signifies the commencement of the Academy postseason, featuring the top 32 teams from the U-16/17 and U-18/19 divisions and top eight teams of the U-15 division based on the final standings of points-per-game average from regular season play. The Quarterfinals follow from June 24-25, when the eight group winners will stay in Oceanside and contend for one of four spots in the Academy Semifinals, set to kickoff at Orange County Great Park in Irvine, California on Monday, July 8 with the championship games to be played on July 10.
