Stories to Watch:**
Welcome to the Club
Last Wednesday against LA Galaxy midfielder Damir Kreialch appeared in his 99th regular-season match for Real Salt Lake in Major League Soccer. Should he take the pitch against Colorado Rapids he will become the 18th RSL player to earn his 100th appearance with the club. Kreilach joins Justen Glad and Albert Rusnak as the only current rostered players to make 100 appearances in a Real Salt Lake jersey. Several other players have eclipsed 100 matches, however they were spread out across several different clubs. _
It Their Time_
Real Salt Lake’s Jonathan Menendez had his first training session with the team last week and was included on the gameday roster for Wednesday’s match against LA Galaxy, but did not appear. The team will round out a series of three matches in eight days when it faces the Rapids, so fans may see Menendez make his club and league debut at home in Rio Tinto Stadium. Defender Toni Datkovic who has been with the team for over a week has also yet to make his first appearance for the club. He was a part of the gameday roster against LAFC, but missed the Galaxy game due to injury prevention. _
Mr. Assists_
Through 11 matches played, defender Aaron Herrera has recorded six assists, more than any other defender in the league and is tied for the second-most in all of Major League Soccer. In his three seasons prior, Herrera has only assisted five goals in a combined 68 matches. **
Connections:** Real Salt Lake Assistant Coach Pablo Mastroeni formerly played and coached for Colorado Rapids and earlier this month his former club retired his number, making him the first individual to receive the honor for the Rapids. As a player he led the team to the 2010 MLS Cup and appeared in more than 200 matches. As a coach he led the team to its best regular-season record in 2016, finishing the year second in voting for the MLS Coach of the Year award.
