HERIMMAN, UTAH (Thursday, January 21, 2021) – Real Salt Lake selected forward Rene White from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in the compensatory round of the 2021 MLS SuperDraft presented by adidaswith the 84th overall pick.
“We are happy to welcome another exciting attaching player to our Club and look forward to having Rene continue to develop under the direction of our Club staff,” Beltran said.
White finished his career at NJIT with a school-leading 34 goals in 54 appearances. For his offensive prowess he was named the 2019 Atlantic Sun Conference Player of the Year after finishing fourth in the nation with 17 goals.
