RSL returns home on the heels of Saturday’s 1-1 comeback draw at FC Dallas, as substitute FW Anderson Julio’s 69th-minute goal rescued a valuable point and extended RSL’s unbeaten streak in the DFW Metroplex to five games, as last year’s Justin Meram-inspired 2-1 comeback win at Toyota Stadium catapulted the Claret-and-Cobalt Club’s Cinderella run to the Western Conference Final.

RSL returns home Wednesday to its Sandy fortress looking to snap a three-game home winless skid, before heading to Supporters Shield leaders LAFC on Sunday, Sept. 4 at Banc of California Stadium.
Saturday in Dallas, recently-arrived DF Bryan Oviedo – slated to start for Costa Rica in this winter’s upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar – came off the bench late to become the 10th player to make his RSL debut this season, and the 29th player to earn MLS minutes in 2022. Another substitute, MF Scott Caldwell, played the majority of the second half, earning his all-time 250th MLS appearance. Under Head Coach Pablo Mastroeni’s leadership, RSL is now 11-4-5 (W-L-T) on Utah soil against MLS opponents following the July 30 / August 6 losses to FC Dallas and LAFC prior to a 1-1 draw 10 days ago against Vancouver.
