Real Salt Lake defender Justen Glad has been named to MLSsoccer.com's MLS Team of the Week for week 3 following the team’s dramatic come-from-behind 3-2 victory over New England Revolution.
Glad scored the equalizer in the 88th minute, running on to a set-piece cross from Pablo Ruiz to deflect it past the goalkeeper and level the score 2-2, just a few minutes before Tate Schmitt scored the game winner in stoppage time. On the defensive end he led the team in tackles with two, while also adding five clearances.
Glad has previously been named to Team of the Week nine times, most recently during July of 2020.
