Real Salt Lake midfielder Luis Gil will play the biggest game of his international career on Tuesday, when he and the U.S. Under-20 National Team will take on Canada in the Quarterfinals of the CONCACAF U-20 Championship with the winner advancing to this summer's FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey.
Tuesday's match will kickoff at 4 p.m. MT and will be broadcast live on Fox Soccer Channel.
Gil performed well in the U.S.'s two Group Stage matches, leading Tab Ramos' squad to the Group A title with a goal in the Stars-and-Stripes' 2-1 win over Haiti last Monday and an assist in the team's 1-0 win over Costa Rica on Friday.
Canada finished second in Group B of the CONCACAF U-20 Championship, losing 2-1 to Cuba in its opener before pounding Nicaragua 5-1 to secure second-place and advance to the Championship Quarterfinals.
