Real Salt Lake defender Andrew Brody and midfielder Damir Kreilach were placed on MLSsoccer.com's MLS Team of the Week for week 35 following the team’s 1-0 victory over Sporting Kansas City that clinched a spot in the Audi 2021 MLS Cup Playoffs.
Brody and Kreilach both earned a spot in the starting lineup. This is Brody’s first time being named to MLS Team of the Week, while it is Kreilach’s sixth of the season.
Brody led the team in interceptions with four, while also adding three clearances and one tackle at the left back position. The defender won 82% of his duels while also contributing to the team’s attack.
Meanwhile, Kreilach recorded his 16th goal of the season in stoppage time to earn the victory and secure the team a place in the postseason.
