The remarkable has become routine for the RSL Academy as the u16s & u18s booked their tickets to the U.S. Soccer Development Academy knockout quarterfinals, again, on Monday.
The u16s won Group G with a 1-1 draw against Vardar.
The u18s topped Group H after a 1-0 victory over Vancouver.
U.S. Soccer Development Academy playoffs resume on Thursday, July 6th, with the u16 quarterfinal matchups.
The u18 quarterfinals will be played the following day, on Friday, July 7th.
Winners of the knockout matches will advance to the Academy Championships in Carson, California on July 14th.
The RSL Academy went unbeaten in six matches in Indiana.
Both squads finished an impressive 2-0-1 in group play, with a +9 combined goal differential.
RSL is one of three MLS programs to double-qualify for the Academy knockout quarterfinals.
