The MLS All-Star First XI is beginning to shape up quite nicely.
It's been almost a week since the polls opened for fans to pick their
MLS All-Star First XI, so we thought we'd reveal how your favorite
players are doing. There are no great surprises, but who would you
rather see represent MLS in its summer classic against Manchester United
on July 27? Make your voice heard and vote now!
There's still plenty of time as polls close at midnight on July 5. Fans
will also get a chance to vote for players via a special Twitter vote
from June 17-20.
Fans may notice the First XI is looking a little top-heavy. Don't worry
— it's unlikely All-Star coach Hans Backe will start four forwards
against the English Premier League champions as he'll chose the actual
starting lineup from a pool of players picked by fans, coaches, players
and the league's commissioner, Don Garber.
