Connections:
Tacoma Defiance goalkeeper Christian Herrera began his professional career with the Real Monarchs from 2015-17 after attending the RSL-AZ Academy the previous three seasons. However, during his time with the Monarchs, Herrera spent the 2016 season on loan with Pachuca II in Mexico and the 2017 season on loan with Portland Timbers 2.
