“In the first half we created a couple chances we just couldn’t quite put away. I thought we played a great first half. In the second half I think they were better. They were better and more compact and created a lot of problems for us in behind with our three at the back.”
On the goal conceded:
“It was a late step, late defending from us. They get in behind and score.”
On what to improve on:
“Right now our mentality. We need to get the players ready to go mentally and physically because we don’t have time to think about much. We’re going to move on, watch video and talk about a lot between tomorrow and Monday. We just need to prepare for Wednesday now.”
On the quick turnaround:
“We need to rebound so tonight doesn’t hurt too much. We need to have the advantage because we’re going to be at home. We’ll be back stronger on Wednesday.”

“I think we started the game well. We started on the front foot and we kept them under pressure. They’re a team that likes to keep the ball and we did what we could. In the end it wasn’t enough.”

“Today it came down to the final product. We did everything to build the chances up but at the end of the day we have to finish.”

“I love to play game after game. Especially when you lose, you have to come back and redeem yourself.”
