“It was really difficult to play forward or through the air. The ball moves and it's difficult. Just difficult. Even though we would have quality sometimes to play through, to play one-two touches like the wing plays in, it’s just hard. We need to fight through it, conditions play through a game. We just gotta fix it.”
On the team coming together:
“It’s just game by game. I think game by game it’s going to be more confident and better quality at the same time. We just gotta keep going. It’s been rough. It’s been a rough season. Sometimes when we’re down and we don’t want to fight anymore we have to keep fighting. We got to keep battling through the guys, we gotta push it and gotta go to the next game.”
On being professional about the results:
“I believe when you go through losses you learn more than wins. I believe that you gain more experience. You gain more knowledge from the game. You just have to take that in and put it to the next game.”

On the team getting better and more cohesive:
“We have to stay positive. Obviously losing is never fun. Just every week of getting better and better, and this teaches you that it’s not always going to be easy. You just have to keep going every day, showing up to get better.”
On time with the first team
“It’s obviously nice to get those minutes. It shows you that there’s a whole other level and that you just need to keep pushing yourself. Obviously getting those minutes with the first team gets you more hungry to get back up there, so it gives you something to work towards every day.”
On the offensive push towards the end
“Just getting services in the box was necessarily what we were trying to do. Pushing for a goal late in the game, service is always good. It just happened to come down my side.”
On his chances in the second half:
“Obviously it's a bit unlucky. I think if I hit that a little better it goes in. Deflections. Anything can happen. It’s obviously frustrating at the moment but when you look back at it on film it’s good that we’re getting those chances and sooner or later they’re going to go in.”
