“As soon as I knew I was coming in, I was obviously excited. It has been a while since I have had any significant minutes, that was a big positive for me. I just wanted to come in and promise myself that I was going to give everything and I did. I was lucky enough to find myself in the right place at the right time to score a goal.”
On the match:
“It wasn’t that great of a match in the first half, to be honest. We made two subs at the half and it definitely got better. As the game went on I think we had a little bit of luck on our side, but we also played with a lot of grit to earn this win.”
