Following a 1-1 draw with Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC on Friday night, Real Monarchs goalkeeper Jeff Dewsnup was named to the starting lineup of USL Championship’s Team of the Week for Week 27.
Dewsnup recorded a career-high nine saves in the match, including his second penalty-kick save of the year on a penalty taken by current USL Championship Golden Boot leader Hadji Barry just before the end of the first half. In addition, the Herriman, Utah native tallied two clearances and an interception in the match.
