Andrew Brody Named to MLS Team of the Week

Real Salt Lake defender Andrew Brody has been named to MLSsoccer.com's MLS Team of the Week for week 11 following the team’s dramatic come-from-behind 2-1 victory over Austin FC.

Just several days after signing a long-term contract extension, Brody netted the game-winning goal in the 88th minute, slamming home a pass from Anderson Julio at the top of the 18-yard-box to secure the win. Additionally, Brody led the team in tackles with three and interceptions with two, while also adding three clearances.

This is Brody’s second appearance on MLSsoccer.com's Team of the Week, the first coming in the final week of the 2021 regular season for his contributions in the 1-0 win over Sporting Kansas City that punched Real Salt Lake’s ticket into the MLS Cup Playoffs.
